I am interested to know if gateway components for Yahoo and AIM are possible to install as I could do it for the jabberd2?!

Hey Tamer,
Yes, it is possible to connect gateways to Jive Messenger. You can search on this forum for instructions on how to do that. Basically, all Python gateways can be used with Jive Messenger (e.g PyMSN, PyICQ and PyAIM) and there is also a beta version of a yahoo gateway available.
