I’m currently running Openfire 3.3.2 on one server. I wish to install the latest openfire version (currently 3.8.2) into a another (dev) server and also import any existing contacts users have and any other settings. I want to run another instance of openfire for testing while still having the existing openfire running. I’m using Oracle as the database and LDAP for user authentication. I noticed that openfire_oracle.sql for 3.8.2 has different table names than in version 3.3.2. I am unsure how to deal with this. Are there certain tables I should only import over? Do I still need to run openfire_oracle.sql (3.8.2) if Im going to import from 3.3.2? What is the best way to do this?
