I am trying to get OpenFire 3.8.2 installed on an App server in a SBS2008 domain. The App server is running Windows Server 2008 R2. I would like to use LDAP Active Directory Authentication. I changed the default admin console port to 9092 so it wouldn’t interfere with the Symantec admin console port. I setup my base dn as ou=MyBusiness,dc=domainname,dc=local. My admin dn is cn=admin,ou=SBSUsers,ou=Users,ou=MyBusiness,dc=domainname,dc=local. When it comes time to input an admin user, the console says I have an error. The conf\openfire.xml file never gets updated with the values I have inputted during the configuration setup.
Has anyone done this setup successfully that can assist? What error logs do I need to post?
