I have deployed Openfire 3.9.3 integration with Active Directory. Have created many groups based on the departments.
I am getting requests from people to view others groups apart from the group on which they are members eg., Member of Admin group also wants to the Marketing and Sales Group show up in his roster.
I can create a separate security group in AD for him and they share Marketing and Sales Group with this group. However i will continue to get such request and creating security groups for each of such request does not make sense.
OR add the user to the other departments in the active directory, but then his presence will show active in other department groups where he actually does not belong.
Do you have any suggestion or option by which i can share groups to individual users just the way we share to different shared groups.
