We are looking at purchasing FastPath or another Live Support client. This capability is really interesting to us. I would like to have some documentation about this pluggable API so that we can try it during our trial period.
As part of Fastpath users can elect to have the chat transcript emailed to them. The chat transcript is also recorded in the database by Fastpath automatically.

Yep, exactly. The end user can have the transcript emailed to them at the end of chat. The configuration for this feature is under the “Webchat Transcripts” section of the “Workgroup Options” in the Admin Console.
