Is it possible to upgrade Open fire 3.6.3 to 3.7.0 with out hampering the users old chat records ?
Do you mean archived chats via Monitoring plugin? I think upgrade shouldn’t hamper archives. BUT. You should do a backup and only then try upgrading. I’m not sure Monitoring plugin will work at all with 3.7.0 version. This plugin is known to cause lots of troubles by stoppoing working suddenly. Sometimes i wish we can just remove it from this site as it is causing more troubles and has no archives managing options.
