Is openfire and/or spark sending packets out to a public ip address

I’m running the latest openfire and spark and I noticed on my client machine spark.exe is sending packets out to the port 3478 IP of 75.101.138.128. I did a whos lookup and this ip goes to amazon.com. Any idea what this is?

Please advice as I don’t wish to share any of my spark conversations with public such as amazon.com.

Hi Mike,

Port 3478 is used by STUN protocol for sending/receiving “rich media”. Do you have the STUN services enabled on Openfire?
