Issues getting user search to show up for clients

We recently noticed the user search function was broken/not available. I tried to uninstall/reinstall and downgrade the version of the search plugin, but to no avail, it is still broken. When we click Actions > Add Contact, I have a radio button for Search for someone, but the only search coming up is our conference rooms.

We tried to restart the Openfire application, but we’re still having issues. Any ideas?

What Openfire, Search and client version are you using? Also, is there anything related in the logs? Maybe related issue http://community.igniterealtime.org/message/207845#207845
