I setup a new Openfire 3.7.1 Server recently and got everyone in my department on it using Ichat 5.03 on MAC’s and Spark 2.6.3 on PC’s. Everything is working ok except one thing on the MACS.
When a mac desktop or laptop goes to sleep ichat changes the status of the user to offline.
Once a user wakes the computer up it goes back to available but they can’t see anyone from the list and the list is empty.
So they have close out of ichat and go back in to see the jabber user list.
This is a huge pain in the ass. Any ideas on how to fix this?
