Java Memory at 95% and higher

Hello Everyone

We are running Windows 2003 with 2 GB Ram and Openfire version 3.6.4. Recently our Java Memory, under the Openfire Admin Console, started to spike up to 95% and higher making Spark completely unusable. We upped the amount of Java Memory several times but after a few days found ourselves in the same predicament. Currently we have our Java Memory set at 512MB. How can we stop our Java Memory from running away causing Spark to become unusable. We currently have around 300 users using Openfire and Spark. Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Hi,

which database and plugins are you using? The archiving plugin with the embedded database may cause such problems.

We are using archiving but I do not see it in the plugin list. The plugin list shows broadcast, im gateway, monitoring service, registration, search, user import export, and user service. We are using the following database: HSQL Database Engine 1.8.0. Thanks for your help.
