JdbcAuthProvider Setup Allows Admin Console Login only -- Error on Client connect (v3.4.5)

I am using Postgresql 8.2.4 for both OpenFire database and the External database I am trying to connect. My client software is Exodus and Pidgin.

Prior to adding the JDBC Auth, the clients connected fine. After a “finally” successful implementation that allowed me to log in via the admin web page, the clients were no longer able to connect.

When enabling my debug log, I get the error attached. Please advise asap as I have very little hair left to pull out.

Admin login works fine but connecting with client fails. Debug Log shows the same as reported earlier.

DB is also postgresql (8.08 in our case)

Any help on this issue???
