Hi,
im a new user of smack, just started evaluating the library for a big project, it looks pretty sleek. I do have a quesiton though. I would like to use smack to determine presence using XMPP and then establish direct connection using Jingle for data transfer.
i see that smack has a Jingle extension component too, but i cant seem to find much information about it. most questions on this board about jingles remain unanswered. Is the Jingle extension usable in a production environement?
and finally, does it require jingle nodes open fire plugin in any way or can it work without it?
