Just installed, not accepting admin login

i just installed openfire. I created a database using msql through php admin.

Openfire and DB are both hosted on private machine.

I followed the install process, ran the OF installer, then created DB openfire on localhost, then ran web setup, once i finished setup, launched Admin and will not let me log in using admin email or username.

What am i doing wrong here?

You mention email, so i want to clarify. You have tried logging in with ‘admin’? Have you setup a password? If not, then try ‘admin’ as a password. Also, what error do you get?

Apparently I was using the wrong username. Tried admin it worked. Thanks!
