I know there are other LDAP configurations in the thread, but I was not able to figure out what I’'m doing wrong and there are different ways to configure ADUC and I started to get confused. So Please bear with me on this LDAP question.
I was succesfull in step 1,
Step 2 I got the following Error:
Test: User Mapping
A random profile is selected for you to review. Bold fields with no value mean that an error may have been found. To view another profile click ‘‘Next ramdom profile’’. When you are finished close this window.
Status: Error
No users were found using the specified configuration. Try changing the base DN, user filter or username field.
I’‘m using Wildfire 3.1.1 and my Active Directory is on a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. I have an OU called “companyname” under this ou I have an ou called “user” I’'m using the default settings. I only want to auth and maybe see user names. I want to keep it simple.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to have an objectclass or filter. Hope someone can help.
