I’m in the process of replacing our current Jabberd2 server with something that has tighter integration with LDAP (specifically RedHat dirsrv). I’ve setup Openfire in the past, was able to get user rosters populated based on the groups in LDAP, but wasn’t able to then modify those rosters so users could customize them.
Perhaps I’m missing something here, but if anyone has any suggestions or preivous forum posts that pertain to this topic I’m all ears.
