LDAP Setup - add more Admin accounts

Hi

During the setup I added only my own AD account as an admin account.

Now I need to set more accounts as “admins”, all in AD, but I can’t find any way to do this. All tries result in “Directory is read-only” which is correct (as it’s LDAP based)

How can I add more admins?

you need to go to the openfire system properties and add the admins there. Flagging an account as an admin under users/groups does nothing of consequence.

but exactly this is not possible, as the wizzard doesn’t display the admin question anymore, but does for all the other LDAP stuff)

What wizard? You need only edit the system property in openfire. Edit the highlighted system property:

users are entered as a comma separtated list by their JID (e.x. user1@chatserver.domain.com,user2@chatserver.domain.com)
