Which i (and others) did as you can find a couple of similar bug report like this one ( LDAP shared groups => user status doe snot propagate)

But those forum thread have not been notived by teh devs yet… sad since i got this issue for almost 1 years now whatever the version.

Hi Aurelien

Have you been able to solve your issue with LDAP shared groups yet? I’ve still been running it without ldapgroupprovider and my statuses have been updating fine ever since. It is a hasle though to have to maintain a local shared group with using the eDirectory user names.
