We don’‘t have a specific release date yet for the Linux version, but we’'re working to get it out as soon as possible.

We’'re planning on Linux support for the 1.1 release, which is a bit more than a month away. The main things we need to work on:

  • Test look and feel, make sure it works well.

  • Create installers, etc.

  • See if any native code needs to be created, as we use on Windows/OSX.

Where is developers forum for spark?

We haven’‘t released the plugin API yet, so there’'s not a dev forum… yet.

What is Asterisk-IM project?

Asterisk-IM is an integration between the Open Source PBX Asterisk and Wildfire. Spark supports the protocol extensions as well. Let us know if you have more specific questions about it.

With Install 4j is not problem I think.

IMHO Keeping JRE in distro is not a good idea.

Another person looking forward to the Linux Spark client. Just got everything running and the Spark Windows client is just wonderful. Great work guys!!!
