Log File continues to grow until IM service is restarted

Hi

My Nohup.out file keeps growing to the maximum disk capacity. This then causes the server to fail and then a reboot is required.

Is there a way the nohup.out file can be set to a limit or a setting that regularly gets cycled??

Openfire 3.9.1

Centos 6 x64

Anyone seen this before?

You could edit the SysVInit script and instead of starting openfire with the redirect to nohup.out, you could redirect it to /dev/null

Moreover, what is being logged to the file? Perhaps something else can be fixed to remedy this.
