I installed the Jive Server and now it’'s working fine, I tested with Gaim and worked fine. The question is that we need a EIM that works only in our network, in order to cancel the access to MSN, AOL and Yahoo.
I would like to know if there any client software that can use only Jive Server and that don’'t connect to others IM networks.

“Jive Messenger is Java instant messaging (IM) and group chat server that implements the XMPP (Jabber) protocol.” So, what you need is a client that only uses the XMPP protocol, a comprehensive list of clients can be found url=http://www.jabber.org/software/clients.shtmlhere[/url]. Some of more popular clients are Psi, Exodus and Pandion.

For EIM I would strongly recommend PSI.
However asking the client question of a bunch of Jabber users is like asking prefered distro of bunch of linux users; everyone is going to have an opinion.
The best thing I can suggest is going to http://www.jabber.org/software/clients.shtml grab all the clients that fall into your platform and license preference and try them out. The worst that can happen is you have a bunch of apps to uninstall.
