Is there anyway to take broadcast messages and make them pop up in the screen very prominently?
At the moment it just looks like another chat box.
If possibe I’d like it to open a large window with massive text, playing a sound, on top of every other open window whenever a broadcast is made.
Is this feasible?
I’d like to know the same thing. Would be good as a warning to all staff or an important notifcation like “Fire! Get out!”
Has no-one got any ideas?

client-side broadcast messages are sent as normal chat messages. So neither the xmpp server nor the receiving client have a chance to identify them as broadcast messages. Anyhow Spark has a “buzz” feature, maybe one could send a buzz packet after the broadcast.
