Max Session Behaviour

Greetings!

I’ve installed Openfire with the Fastpath and Webchat plugins and things are working nicely so far.

Before I start configuring workgroups etc. I would like to understand the behaviour of the “Max Sessions” setting, which allows me to define number of maximum simultaneous chat sessions an agent may accomodate. I can vary this setting per workgroup.

If I have a workgroup that has Max Sessions set to 3, and another workgroup that has Max Sessions set to 6, and an agent is a member of both, what happens when that agent reaches 3 sessions?

My guess would be that the workgroup that has Max Sessions set to 3 will not send any more chats, but the workgroup that has Max Sessions set to 6 will continue to send chats until 6 sessions has been reached.

Can anyone confirm this?
