Message buffering question

Hello all,

I have a question about the message buffering in the Jive Messenger. Two JIDs are communicating each other. At some point, one JID is disconnected, however another JID doesn’'t detect it and continue sending messages to the first disconnected JID. Will all messages be buffered by the server? Where can I check this?

Note: at my case, each JID is a data device. I know the Tipic server would buffer all commands or messages at this case and can be checked.

Jive supports Offline Messages. You can think of it as an inbox that gets filled with messages that are send to you when you’‘re offline. As soon as you get online, you’'ll have to check that inbox. Most clients do this automatically.

You can modify Offline Message settings in the Admin console.
