Migrated plugin from Openfire 4.1.1 to 4.2.1, plugin version showing as 0.0.0 in Administrator console plugins page

Plugins developed and running on Openfire 4.1.1
Rebuilt and deployed these on Openfire 4.2.1 version
plugin.xml has class, name, description, version defined.

The logs also show plugin has been uploaded successfully.
However, in the plugins page, only name, description and author are shown correctly and the version is shown as 0.0.0
any suggestions please ?

Use n.n.n Release x notation.

For example, 0.0.1 or 0.0.1 Release 1

Is this https://issues.igniterealtime.org/browse/OF-1351 affecting? Shouldn’t it affect other’s plugins? @guus

Openfire has gotten a bit more strict in what text it accepts as a version string. Dele’s suggestion is safe (note that the “release x” bit is optional).

Changed the plugin version from 1.2 to 1.2.0 and it showed up correctly.
