Minimum requirements for the server?

Is there a minimum requirement for the Openfire server to run?

I am having this issue… Once I install it and then try and open the admin page it says server not found… DNS error… the address is http:
127.0.0.1 but it wont go to the page… any ideas??

Hi,

Did you put in foward slashes? http://127.0.0.1

Openfire runs on Port 9090 by default, so try

http://127.0.0.1:9090

or

http://localhost:9090

Edit: If you don’'t get access to your server, take a look into the logfiles in …/openfire/logs.
