Monitoring Service Plugin with 3rd party XMPP client

I wanted to expand Openfire to our remote sales force and found that Monal works really well on the iPhone with Openfire. Problem I’m having before I could deploy it is that the chat logs aren’t archived in the Monitoring Service Plugin during my testing. Only Spark Client chats are being recorded. Is there any way to get the Monitoring Service Plugin to work with 3rd party XMPP clients?

Any other options for remote users that have iPhones?

The XMPP client should not make any difference to the monitoring plugin. Which version of Openfire and the plugin are you using? Does it log any client currently?
