I tried doing a forum search for smilies but didn’'t come up with any results. Is it possible to add more smilies to Spark?

no it isn’'t. It was anyhow discussed that it would be nice to have an emotions.xml file where one can define smilies or other emotions.

We were hoping to get the new emoticon pack support into Spark 2.0, but sadly, it will need to be pushed out to the 2.0+ schedule. However, it is definitely in our plans to do this feature.
