how can i move an openfire jabber server which is installed via rpm to another server.
I copied the files in /opt but after this i cant login in the webinterface.
The running system is an Centos 5.0 and the Server must move to a Debian with another IP.

are you sure the server is running? can you login with a client?
oh i forgot i didn’t tested the login with a client.
via the admin interface i got only password or username wrong or not in the moderators group.
Maybe this is a permissions problem. Can a user running Openfire edit /conf dir? Maybe better transition process would be to install fresh Openfire with debian package and then just copy settings and database from your old installation (/conf, /resources/security, /embedded-db if using internal database).
