Moving the SQL database

Hey!

I am using a MS SQL Server 2000 dB instead of the embedded dB. I want to move that database to another server. Where do you edit this config on the Wildfire service so I can point it to the new server? I have logged into 127.0.0.1:9090 as the admin and I can’'t find where this value can be edited.

Hi Chris,

you need to edit conf/openfire.xml manually. The most easy thing would be to set setup to false, restart Openfire and run the configuration wizard again by connecting to 127.0.0.1:9090.

Openfire will not move any data from one database to the other, that’'s your job (;
