Problem has been fixed in SVN. (or at least it seems to have been, I haven’'t seen it once since upgrading on my own server)

I have installed new 1.0 Beta 6b, but now received another warning:

Result is the same as in previous versions: ICQ ? OK, MSN - register, but not connected. Could I do something?

Can you verify in your database that the registration has a username and password (nickname ignored)? That message indicates a null username or password. (i could tell you more precisely which is null, but it’'s probably easier to just make sure the registration looks right)

MSN registration is OK, I see username and password, but connection “never”

I have tried many times to connect to MSN directly, by Miranda - all OK with username/password.

Hrm. Is anyone else using your install of the plugin and are they having the same issues? This is quite bizarre looking. If you are certain that the password field is indeed not empty then I’'m currently at a loss as to what might be going on.

I’‘ve had this same problem since installation of Wildfire several months ago. I connect to the server via Adium, and it always reports the Connection Reset by Peer problem with MSN. If I immediately disonnect and reconnect to wildfire, then the MSN gateway works, and I’'m good to go until the next time I change my status.

And the next time you change your status (are you referring to away -> n/a or available -> away or something like that) you are disconnected with a connection reset? Anything in your wildfire debug or error logs?
