MSN Transport brings workstation and server to 100% usage

I am using SparK 2.0.7 and Wildfire 3.1.1. After starting Spark the MSN transport gives me an error and in a very short time, both my workstation and the server that Wildfire is running on start to die.

I find that Spark is running 100% on my workstation and Wildrire at 100% on the server.

What have I missed here?
