I get to the Database Settings - Standard Connection page, however, I cannot connect to my MySQL database that I created. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter and made sure that the user account in MySQL is configured properly but no cigar.
The error message I receive on the page is:
A connection to the database could not be made. View the error message
by opening the “/logs/error.log” log file, then go back to fix the
problem.
Checking /logs/error.log I see:
[org.jivesoftware.database.DefaultConnectionProvider.getConnection() was called before the internal pool has been initialized.
and
org.jivesoftware.database.DbConnectionManager.getConnection(DbConnectionManager. java:95) WARNING: ConnectionManager.getConnection() failed to obtain a connection!chrome://piclens/content/launch.png!
Any ideas?
