New openfire server connecting to an old openfire MicrosoftSQL database

Can i still reconnect to my old openfire database(Microsoft SQL Server).
recently i have a working openfire server in linux, while its database is in WindowsServer(Microsoft SQL Server) but suddenly my sqlserver get down and i set it up again by restoring my Db backup into a new sql server, now i also have a new openfire server(Win10) and im stuck with this error when i try to connect from my new sqlserver with my old database.

Error says that connection was refused by SQL server. Make sure you are using proper credentials when setting up a connection in Openfire and check if firewall on SQL server is not blocking this connection (you can temporarily disable firewall to test this).
