What would be needed to get NIS authentication working? I know you can’‘t (as of yet) store a hashed password in the external DB, I’'m wondering what can be done to get Jive talking with our NIS infrastructure?

It should be possible to use Shaj to do this:

I’‘m assuming that the NIS auth info is available through PAM? We haven’'t done the actual integration work with Shaj yet, but it should be a pretty simple AuthProvider implementation.
