Currently run MS LCS 2005. Anyone have any luck getting LCS to communicate with Open Fire. I do know that the protocols are different but I need a way to make this happen. We are not OCS.
LCS is a very old stuff so i doubt you will find anything. If you search the forums you will find a bunch of threads talking about this, but no real solution. Jadestorm was thinking about adding LCS/OCS support to his former IM Gateway plugin but i think nothing worked out and there were no java APIs for such gateways. There is a SIP transport in the latest Kraken IM Gateway plugin and i know that LCS is using SIP (maybe for voice only?), so maybe it is possible to do something, but it would be very hard to find any documents on that.
