Openfire 3.4.5 + Asterisk-IM 1.4.0 in Active Directory no work

Hi:

I have Openfire integrated with a Windows 2003 AD and works properly.

While attempting to integrate it with an asterisk according to the log

everything is correct but the server does not add to the list.

Therefore I can not map to users.

Any idea to fix.

Can you show your manager.conf?

Make sure the permissions for the Openfire user are

read = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user
write = system,call,log,verbose,command,agent,user

I am in a similar situation - OpenFire 3.4.5 backed by AD (2k3) works great, but Asterisk-IM doesn’t.

I get the following in my logs when starting OpenFire:

Missing database schema for asterisk-im. Attempting to install…

asterisk-im - Database update failed. Please manually upgrade your database.

I DO, however, see Asterisk-IM connecting to and authenticating with my Asterisk server… Although the server configuration does not show up in the “admin console” on OpenFire.

which database do you use?

if you verify your db schema with the lastest sql file in the plugin dir of Asterisk-IM does it match?

HSQL Database Engine

1.8.0 …how would I do what you suggest?

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin (with reboots of OpenFire in between) - no luck, it still fails to update the DB.

it seems that i’m having this same issue… i’m using the embebed db. could be this the problem?

i’ve tried with 3.4.5 and now i’m upgrading to 3.5.0 to see what happens

just found the issue and solution
