A new release of Openfire with critical bug fixes has been released. It is highly recommended for existing installation to upgrade to this new release. The complete set of fixes can be found here. The SIP plugin should be updated too.

Also, if you are running a pre 3.6.0 release, please take care with the upgrade process. There are many issues folks have run into with the database migration. You may wish to consult Daniels post for more details.

No problems after upgrading from 3.6.0a so far. I see that at least the windows exe version is bundled with rather old JRE 1.6.0_03. 1.6.0_10 is the latest. Could be updated someday.
Updated my test server a few minutes ago. No problems so far. Will update the primary server tomorrow morning. (09:00 UTC+1)
