Hi,
I installed the debian package of openfire on ubuntu server. After it is installed I can’t cd into that directory, because openfire owns it. What is the right way of doing this, I assume giving root a password to cd into direcoty is a mistake. Would adding myself to this group help at all. I don’t understand what I should do? I have been reading through the forums, but not finding the answer to my question.
