Openfire 4.0.2 lost conference server connection

Hi, I just upgraded my pidgin server to 4.0.2, after upgraded, I noticed in my client, some of chat group is didn’t work, I got error is 404:Item NOt Found. But it actually listed in Chat grouprooms in server. And if I going to search a new group, I have to manually type in my conference server address. Before I upgraded the server, the conference server is automatically filled in. Could you please take a look? What cause this issue? Thanks.

There is a log say removing chat room, I don’t know is that removed the chat room server?

2016.06.20 08:59:29 org.jivesoftware.openfire.muc.spi.MultiUserChatServiceImpl - removing chat room:rd|org.jivesoftware.openfire.muc.spi.LocalMUCRoom

To start with the log message: after a chat room has gone unused for a long time (by default, 30 days), it is removed from memory. It still can be used though, as it will be loaded from memory after someone tries to use the room. The log message sounds more dramatic than what is actually going on.

I cannot help you with the exact details of the Pidgin conference service interface - that’s more of a question for the Pidgin community. What you can do is use the Openfire Admin Console to verify if your Conference service, and the MUC Rooms in it, exists on your server, in the way that you expect them.

I did restart openfire service, now the conference room server is auto listed in the group list.

But for the durian-deit group, I still got the same error, maybe just like you said, because this is a unused group more than 30 days? But it still exist in my server. I don’t know how to bring it back in client, maybe I can try use SPARK.
