Certain users were able to get in but now experiencing 100 % CPU. Will not allow users to log on.

is there a reason you are using Openfire 4.1.6 and not the current release, 4.3.2 ?
I would love to upgrade to 4.3.2. The person who installed it is no longer here. I have to figure out which version of the software he installed to upgrade it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Check logs at /openfire/logs/all.log
Check what plugins you have, try disabling them. Or remove all and try adding one by one. Also, what Windows version exactly? 64-bit? Do you use 32-bit or 64-bit version of Openfire?
Thanks for your response wroot. I had no choice but to rebuild server with newest Openfire. Seems to be working fine now. How do you increase the Java memory?
