I have a odd situation, the server runs with no issues and is set to do updates on Wednesdays and it will reboot if needed. However if for any reason we reboot manually I loose access to the admin dashboard and have to use the secret token method to gain access.
Not sure why this is happening. any insight would be appreciated.

Does the user that runs the Openfire system process have write access to the conf/openfire.xml file?
that’s a good question, i did not do the install I typically use root to reboot the server.
I will check on this
tried it with the user that install the software and when it came back up i was able to login to the dashboard.
