Openfire as daemon [Ubuntu 10.10]

IMHO, I found a small mistake.

When I tried to install Openfire as service into Ubuntu 10.10, I’ve catch small problem.

$ cd /opt/ $ sudo wget []( $ sudo mv downloadServlet\?filename\=openfire%2Fopenfire_3_7_1.tar.gz openfire_3_7_1.tar.gz $ sudo tar -xvvf openfire_3_7_1.tar.gz $ cd openfire/bin/extra/ $ sudo chmod +x openfired $ sudo mv ./openfired /etc/init.d/ $ sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/openfired $ sudo ln -s /etc/init.d/openfired /etc/rc5.d/S15openfired $ sudo service openfired start bash: ./ Нет такого файла или каталога (No such file or directory) And there i've replace: $ sudo nano /etc/init.d/openfired At the first: 32 line :: export OPENFIRE_USER=root At the second: 53 line :: CMD="./openfire $1" Save it, try to start again... $ sudo service openfired start $ Starting openfire Done!
