Does openfire supports multilingual username?
Can you clarify what do you mean by that?
ÇüéâäàåçêëèïîìÄÅÉæÆôöòûùÿÖÜáíóúñÑÓßÔÒõÕÚÛÙýÝðÐÊËÈÍÎÏ some of these letters are used in other languages like esponal, french etc
Similarly there are some possibilities the extended keyboard characters can appear in combination to form one east asian language letters
My question is, if those keyboard is used and which indirectly allows us to write those letters in the openfire user creation textbox
will openfire retain the original letters for the XMPP XML communication?.. or will it be lost in the XML?
for Example
adolfosuárezgonzález@example.com
юзер@екзампл.ком
θσερ@εχαμπλε.ψομ

I think usernames and domain names are very different matters and i can’t tell about the latter one (can’t even test right now). But i’m able to create usernames with various symbols (spanish, russian, etc.) and i can login with such usernames in a client and chat.
There is some issue with the presence though. When i was logged in with a spanish username, it wasn’t updating its status to other clients. But it worked fine with the russian username. Can’t tell why it is behaving like that.
