Openfire not saving muc rooms to mysql table

When I create rooms in the admin panel the rooms are getting created inside the mysql table ofMucRoom just fine.

The problem is when I create a room using strophe muc. It creates the room in the openfire admin panel. I am able to see it there, but it does not end up saving it to the database.

Any hint would be appreciated.

You shoud confirm MUC room configuration from you client after MUC creation. (see MUC XEP)
