Openfire on centos 4.5 runing in root mode

Hi, i have an openfire server 3.3.3 runing in a centos 4.5 server, i use the rpm file to install it, but i realise that the rpm dont create an user and config the openfire to run with this user, instead of that runing as root, so its not secure, i try to mod the /etc/sysconfig/openfire to force to uso an regular user but i cant get the server up. Any body solve this problem?? thanks

I believe the default user is ‘daemon’, which should already exist on the server? When you forced it to use a regular user, you probably also need to change ownerships of /opt/wildfire to that user as well.
