I am trying to use the translator plugin in Spark, but it doesn’t seem to be working. As soon as I enable the translator, the recipient no longer receives chat messages in any language. Switch the drop-down back to ‘no translation’ and things revert to functional english messaging.

Are there Openfire configuration requirements for the translator plugin to function?
I currently have ‘External Component Settings’ set to ‘disabled’ in Server > Server Settings > External Components. Is this required for functionality?
I would experiment a little bit, but I don’t have a test environment and I’m in a quarter-end freeze for production.
Any information about the configuration necessary to support the translator plugin would be appreciated.
