When getting to the last step in the Openfire setup wizzard and clicking finish, I receive:

When I went back to the admin console, it starts the setup wizzard again with the fields populated by my choices from the first time. When I get to the database settings screen where embedded database is selected, I receive: "The Openfire database schema does not appear to be installed. Follow the installation guide to fix this error. " Of course I can’t find a remedy for this in the installation guide.

Any help is appreciated resolving this or explaining why I got the error 500 above on the last step.

Ben

I restarted the Openfire Server and was successful in logging in to the administration console now. I’m still curious about the error 500 I received when completing the original setup wizzard and what if any problems it may have caused.

I just had the same thing at the end of 3.5.0 RC2 install for the first time. Restart, problem gone
