I imagine members of the Openfire team are regularly checking these boards, so figured this would be the best way to say a big thank-you for providing a dedicated Solaris install package!!
I moved from Linux to Solaris as my preferred server platform some time ago, but haven’t until now had to set up Openfire on it. So imagine my pleasant surprise to see the install package - was dreading blood sweat and tears as I have found some aspects of this admittedly wonderful OS can be - but no dice. I even get to control the Openfire service via SMF. Superb!
