Hello,

I have searched everywhere for this. We’re thinking of allocating resources for a VM running Openfire. We need some sort of estimation for storage requirements for ~100 users with some sort of chat auditing enabled (whether it be the included auditor, open archive plugin, or what have you). What amount of storage space would be comfortable for a month’s worth of chat logs, for example?

I would think some number less than 10 GB would be sufficient. It is hard to say without knowing how active your users are / what they are doing

Has anyone noticed the size of their DB after a few months of use? Anything like that?

It would be really nice to have a metric like, X amount of space per 100,000 lines of dialogue being logged.
