Openfire Upgrade (to 4.0.3)

Hi all,

I’m considering upgrading from 4.0.2 to 4.0.3 and I was wondering whether the following instructions documented were still applicable:

Whoops. For CentOS and SQL, to be clear.

Hi. Have done exactly that upgrade (CentOS 6 and MySQL) this morning - worked fine.

  • Stop Openfire service

  • Backup /opt/openfire and MySQL database

  • rpm -Uhv openfirepackagename.rpm

  • Restart Openfire service

No issues here.
